About MintMCP
MintMCP is building the infrastructure layer between AI agents and enterprise systems. Two-pizza team, backed by Coatue, Jeff Dean, Andrej Karpathy, and Scott Belsky. We're doubling this year.
The role
You'll work across the stack - MCP protocol, gateway infrastructure, enterprise deployments, and agentic systems. TypeScript, Go, Python, CockroachDB. There's more backend and infra work, but nothing is off limits. If the product needs a better UI, you build it. If the deploy pipeline is slow, you fix it. We ship continuously, turning around features often within a day.
Roles are blurred here. Engineers care about design, designers think about infrastructure, everyone understands security, and all of us have opinions about what we build, not just how.
How we work
Claude is your primary working environment. The main window open on your screen, all day. You use AI to move faster than a team this size has any right to. You write code with it, debug with it, learn new domains with it, and push it to do things it wasn't designed for.
What we're looking for
- You go end to end. Not waiting for specs, designs, or permission.
- You live in AI. It's how you get your work done.
- You have strong opinions on what's good and what's bad, and you're willing to be wrong.
- You care about the product, the customer, and the business - not just the code.
- You learn fast. New language, new protocol, new domain - you figure it out.
- You've built and shipped things that people use.
