MintMCP
helps companies put agents to work safely. Our first product is an MCP gateway that gives those agents governed access to company data and tools.

Where we're going

MintMCP exists to help companies do more of their work with agents. We build the infrastructure that lets a company make its own work runnable by agents.

That has to start from trust. Before agents can touch Slack, GitHub, Jira, Snowflake, and internal databases, you need to know what they can reach, what they did, and why they were allowed to do it.

Most people carry far more permissions than any single task needs. If an agent uses your token directly, it inherits all of them. So we start at the foundation: trusted, governed access to data, scoped down to exactly what an agent needs to do its job.

MintMCP is backed by Coatue, Maven Ventures, and Hustle Fund, along with angels including Andrej Karpathy, Jeff Dean, Frederic Kerrest, Michael Grinich, Scott Belsky, Tom Willerer, and Brian Shultz. They're backing MintMCP because production agents need new infrastructure inside companies.

Scaling the AI pyramid

We think about agent adoption in four levels. Most companies are still near the bottom, and moving up depends on having scoped data access, audit logs, and governance in place first.

1
Chat

Tools like ChatGPT and Claude help people write, analyze, and think. The AI advises, but it doesn't own any of the work yet. Most people are here.

2
Co-work

The AI starts doing bounded tasks: editing files, updating spreadsheets, writing docs, and changing tickets. It moves from giving advice to finishing tasks, and a lot of companies are adopting this right now.

3
Co-worker

Many people work with the same agents at once. The agents show up in Slack, keep memory across time, and can tell you what they did yesterday. They start to feel like teammates rather than tools.

4
The machine

Agents run entire workflows. More company software is built around agent-managed systems.

MintMCP is that foundation, and it is available today. It gives agents secure access to company tools through MCP, each with its own identity and permissions scoped down to the task. That is what moves a company from level 1 to level 2 with controls in place.

From there we build up the pyramid. As agents go into production, we are adding monitoring so you can see what they actually do, including the work that runs at 3am. Reaching the coworker level needs long-running agents that don't forget between runs and that hold context about the company, the team, and the person they're talking to. The hard part is the memory system: avoiding silos and updating the right memory at the right time.

Further up, the way companies organize their work and software will change. We are building toward that from trusted access up.

What MintMCP does today

Every company is rolling out AI agents like Claude, Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, and custom builds. They all need access to company data and tools. MintMCP controls that access.

Agent identity

Every agent gets a persistent, non-human identity. You know exactly which agent did what.

Scoped permissions

Each agent is limited to exactly the tools and data it needs. Per-agent, per-tool.

Activity monitoring

Every tool call, every agent, real-time. Full audit trail.

Run custom MCP connectors

Bring your own MCP servers and we host them. You control deployment, auth, and access.

Your own MCP registry

Curate the MCP servers your team can use. Connect any remote or open-source MCP server, plus our first-party implementations of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Gong, Zoom, and more.

Enterprise controls

SSO, RBAC, audit trails, SOC 2, and HIPAA. Works with any MCP-compatible client.
